A Recipe for "Play Dough"

I made this for my kids this christmas. It's very soft and easy to clean up. I used gel food coloring and the colors came out great.

4 c. Flour

1 C. salt

4 c. Water

4 tbs. oil

1/2 c. Cream of Tartar

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan - cook stirring constantly over low/med heat. Heat until dough is formed and no longer sticky. Turn out of saucepan and knead. Divide dough and color with food coloring. Place in plastic baggies.
